What is the Holiday Fair?

The Holiday Fair is a FUNraiser!  It is our only fundraiser for the year and provides resources to support our community.

While fundraising can be a serious business, we have so much going on and so many opportunities that people are excited and have fun.  They return year after year for the bargains, good food, and fun.

The Holiday Fair has as many as 80 crafters and vendors offering a wide variety of items for sale. These crafts are from a broad range of categories—Christmas decorations, specialty clothing, paintings, and much, much more.

The biggest draw is our reasonably priced gift baskets. (Some even say they have a low price.) They are ready-to-go presents, wrapped and with a bow. They are created by the members using items donated from the community and our members. These beautiful baskets bring many customers back year after year.

  • We have delicious homemade bake goods to eat on site or take home
  • An “Attic Treasurers” table is full of flea market finds.
  • And a monetary raffle that you do not have to be present to win
  • The Junior Woman’s Club provides a delicious lunch menu.

“We’re a service organization and whatever we make from this fair, we give back to the community,” says Peggy Phillips, co-chair of the fair.

“We give to a lot of different organizations, local organizations and scholarships,” says Nancy Engel, president. “This is our one and only fundraiser of the year and every member gets involved, she said.”

“Dollar for value, it can’t be beat. You are going to get much more than the price that is on the basket. The more higher end, the better deal you’re getting.” Former Fair Chairperson, Dottie Patterson.

“This is the start of my holiday shopping!“ Regular patron of the Fair.
